About
Laminate Floor Bowling (LFB) is an internationally recognised sport that derives its origins from Carpet Bowls. The key differences between Carpet Bowls and LFB are:
- As you can probably guess, LFB is played on a laminate flooring surface rather than on carpet.
- In LFB furniture and other obstacles are included in the game. Bowls are permitted to make contact with furniture and other items – in fact, this tactic (known as “furniture use”) is a major part of the strategy in LFB games.
LFB can be played on other (non-carpet) floor surfaces for practice. However, true LFB requires genuine laminate flooring, as the undulations that tend to develop in laminate floor surfaces are a vital ingredient in the game.
